OUR MINISTRIES

Holy Trinity reaches out to offer help where needed, and to build relationships with those who hunger for physical support, dignity, love and spiritual completeness.

Elder Visitation, Pastoral Care and Eucharistic Ministry

At Holy Trinity Fr. Everett Klein and a team of Lay Eucharistic Visitors provides visitation services for sick, shut-in, immobilized and hospitalized parishioners. Call 231-723-2078 for a visit.

Giving Tree

Our parishioners adopt a family every year at Christmastime, supplying all gifts for families of adults and children through a program called The Giving Tree (coordinated through

Love INC).

Infant Pantry

Holy Trinity works with Love INC to provide newborn and infant clothing and supplies to referred families in need.

Laundry Love

Part of a unique nationwide volunteer network, Holy Trinity operates the only Laundry Love ministry in Michigan, at Manistee Laundromat. Once monthly (first Wednesdays), we provide financial assistance to individuals struggling financially in the community. "LL" is an act of love and dignity to those who often have to choose between food and clean clothes. Go to www.laundrylove.org for more information.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is simply a process of coming before God in the presence of another individual who is able to help you explore aspects of your spiritual life because of a combination of experience, education, training, a willingness to follow where God leads and ultimately God's grace.  Spiritual direction is offered by Susan Mencarelli, a member of Holy Trinity. For further information, please contact Susan directly via email (ssmenc2013@yahoo.com) or by phone (231-299-0019).

Spiritual Growth Discussion Group

Lay-led roundtable discussion and faith formation studies occur within and beyond the holy seasons of the year. They are of topical interest and relevance to our lives as faith-filled, reasoning and questioning Christians as well as all people of the community.

Music

Susan Lund-Coyle, an accomplished singer and accompanist, leads a six-person choir in singing anthems from September through May. Traditional three-part harmonies, a cappela compositions, gospel songs and new masterpieces of liturgical music are performed. The choir welcomes newcomers.

A Welcoming, Affirming Faith Family

Holy Trinity welcomes and affirms all who seek God in their lives and yearn for a family in Christ and with the Holy Trinity Community.
